Kentucky Rain
I've grown fond of working with Kentucky Rain; she's one smart and willing mule. At 15 hands and 9-10 years old, she's a gem. She responds beautifully to cues without being overly reactive. You can leave her be for months, saddle up, and hit the trail without a hitch. Her one-hand neck rein is spot-on, and she'll pick you up right from the fence. Kentucky Rain is incredibly smooth in the saddle—perfect for Western pleasure classes or a relaxing trail ride. She picks up correct leads, moves into a soft, controlled lope, and boasts one of the smoothest, slowest jogs you'll ever find on any animal.
